BOWLES GROUP EXPERTS

Tyler J. Bowles, PhD, CPA

Tyler earned a Ph.D. in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991, specializing in Econometrics. He also is a licensed CPA with experience working in public accounting.

Tyler began his professional career in 1989 teaching at a junior college and working for a regional certified public accounting firm. He has held a faculty position at Utah State University since 1994. He has had a productive research career with approximately 40 articles published in refereed journals along with several book chapters. Further, he has been recognized as the College Teacher of the Year (twice), College Advisor of the Year (four times), the USU Presidential Leadership Council Professor of the Year, and the USU Mortar Board Professor of the Year.
